 this has been tagged as a mere enhancement, but i assure you, it is a
 defect. Pidgin allows me to insert and send an image, only to receive this
 ugly message: "(22:54:12) Your IM Image was not sent. You must be Direct
 Connected to send IM Images." Why did it allow me to insert the image
 then?!?
