 This is an one of the AIM features that I miss most. I think Pidgin should
 implement it.

 If you are away, sending a message to a buddy should automatically change
 your status to "Available". It makes sense. If you are able to send
 messages, you will be able to receive messages also. Of course, this
 feature doesn't have to be forced. It could be an option in the
 "Preferences" dialog.
