 Miranda and Trillian both get through the firewall at my work - I'll try
 loading Pidgin on a machine that has no firewall protection. Pidgin is the
 only one that errors out. I had the same problem with Gaim 7 months ago,
 hence the use of Miranda/Trillian. That says to me its a Pidgin issue, not
 a firewall. Is there an alternate AIM server besides Oscar?
