 This is a 2.2.0devel bug, actually, but since it's midnight, here it is.

 As seen in the screenshot, for some reason the name in the tab of a
 conversation is only the first word of the conversation peer's identifier,
 if it contains spaces. This is not unique to AIM; I tried it quickly with
 Google Talk as well. "Denn ManXXXX" is not an alias; that is his AIM name.
