 '''UPDATE''': In conclusion, I'd vote for reverting to the 2 or 3 buttons
 for links, smiley and images, because of the extra click that is required
 by the current Insert button.

 In the end, perhaps the best solution would be to dynamically switch
 between expanded "Font" buttons, and one "Font" drop-down, based on the
 width of the conversation window toolbar.

 In the same vein, it would be great if the buddy icon were shown full
 size, as before, in the lower-left corner of the window, if the typing
 area is higher than the height of the icon.
