Comment (by book):

 Another way to make the message disappear would be to find out how to
 enable the MSN - Yahoo gateway in Pidgin, since this seem to be the reason
 why the message is sent in the first place. (I also receive it every time
 I connect, since one of my friends with a MSN account added my Yahoo
 account as a contact.)
