 In ticket:511, the issue around starting Pidgin twice has been resolved.

 However, there are some minor usability enhancements which could be made:

 * When the Buddy List is minimized in the taskbar, and we start Pidgin a
 second time, it will restore the Pidgin window, but it will not give the
 focus to it, meaning keyboard shortcuts will not work, and the window
 might be restored under other windows. The taskbar entry does blink, so
 users should be able to notice, but the buddy list should really be given
 the focus.

 * Same as above, when the Buddy List is already shown on the desktop (it
 does not get the focus, when Pidgin is started a second time).

 * When the Buddy List is minimized in the systray, it will not be shown at
 all, when we start Pidgin a second time (the systray icon only seems to
 disappear and reappear). As above, it should be shown, and given the
 focus.

 I am using KDE 3.5.7 (on Gentoo Linux).
