 I have two IRC channels opened and they are set to persistent, if I re-
 open them I can see any messages that have been sent when I have the
 windows closed.

 I expected the normal change in the systray icon that is shown when there
 are messages in IM windows. Did I miss a configuration or is this a bug.

 It would also be useful to have an option to allow the persistent windows
 to pop up once a new message is received.
