 Errors were "normal" as I wasn't plugged to the network.
 First one : <protocol>prpl-jabber</protocol>
 The error said that it was impossible to join the message server.

 Second :    <protocol>prpl-aim</protocol>
 The error said that it was impossible to join the proxy server. This is
 the one I pasted in
 my previous post.

 I did some tests this morning.
 I tried to reproduce by putting wrong server names in accounts.xml but it
 always worked fine.
 I wasn't able to reproduce the problem by simply adding an error in
 accounts.xml with a text editor using simple ISO-8859-15 or Unicode
 encoding: Pidgin always found my accounts.
