 The Notification Plugin provides an option to "Insert count of new
 messages into window title". This option works, but when the buddy starts
 typing again, the count disappears.

 This is a regression from gaim 1.x, but it has been this way in every
 version of 2.x that I've used (including betas, IIRC).
