Comment:

 There aren't different language versions of Pidgin - you can change the
 language at runtime.

 GtkSpell (the library we're using for spellchecking support) only supports
 using a single language at a time (that language being the locale language
 that the program is run with).

 If you want to use Russian spellchecking, you'll need to set the Pidgin
 language to Russian (see the [wiki:FAQ] for how to do this).

 The [http://plugins.guifications.org/trac/wiki/switchspell switchspell]
 plugin from the guifications pidgin plugin pack may be helpful to you - I
 haven't used it to know how well it works.
