 I've got the same problem, in linux. With both 2.0.1 and 2.0.2 version. I
 use PCLinuxOS 2007 and i've installed the version compiled for my
 distribution. I've also opened another bug here,
 [http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/1788]. It's more than a month since
 then, but yet nothing to resolve this problem. no patch, no nothing. is
 there any active developer in charge with this ? is there any chance so
 have this problem solved in Pidgin 2.0.3 ?
 Please, try to do something, because it's pretty embarrassing for me while
 chatting to important people to logout so unexpected and then to apologize
 because my favorite IM program crashed :(
