Comment:

 You have installed, at the very least, cairo and libpng from source
 instead of using ubuntu packages. You have also somehow broken your ubuntu
 package installed pango. On top of this you have installed a Pidgin deb
 from a random person on the Internet. Realistically, this is beyond the
 scope of Pidgin to support.
