 I have some buddies using yahoo messenger that are connected but appear in
 my list as in "not in server list" ("pas dans la liste du serveur" in
 French).
 I can still send messages to them and they can reply to me.
 Yet I cannot know if they are online or not which is a major problem for
 me.
 I currently have 3 buddies on yahoo messenger that I see online and 6
 other buddies that are "not in server list". Other buddies also appear
 offline.
 I'm using a HTTP proxy to access yahoo messenger's server from pidgin (set
 up in account settings).

 I did not have this problem with earlier versions of gaim (appart 2.0
 beta).

 I'm now using pidgin 2.0 on linux fc6 (fedora core 6) from pidgin.im.
 $ rpm -q libpurple pidgin
 libpurple-2.0.0-0.1.fc6
 pidgin-2.0.0-0.1.fc6
