 I noticed this too, although I have not fully verified yet: what I see is
 that when I turn invisiable, some (but not all) buddies have the "wall"
 icon. And for example I still see my ICQ and Jabber account as online,
 while my MSN and Y! account goes "offline" when I set to invisible.

 For some ICQ buddies the invisible seems to work, for some not...
