 Only 3 protocol plugin files are at all referenced in the log; these ones:

 plugins: probing C:\UTILS\INTERNET\GAIM\PIDGIN\plugins\libsimple.dll

 I'm not aware of any reason files with a `.dll` extension in that
 directory would be randomly ignored unless glib wasn't returning them in a
 directory listing.

 Do the missing files have an uppercase extension or something?

 I'm also not aware of anything like this happening in a previous beta.
