 I agree that it should match other windows programs.

 I agree you should not have to edit a gtkrc to achieve this.

 I disagree that *we* should have to have code to handle this.  I believe
 that this should be submitted to GTK+, and that they should cause it to
 default to the Right Thing for each platform.
