 The option to set your status when you start Pidgin is broken. I turned
 off "Use last status" and manually selected "available." Makes sense, if I
 just signed in I'm probably there and want to talk. However, it ignores
 that completely and decides to set my status to whatever it was
 previously; usually Away. It remembers the away message. It's basically as
 if I didn't uncheck "Use previous status"
