 When the local buddylist differs from servers version of it a popup is
 displayed for each and every contact that differs from it. This is an OK
 solution for 1-3 popups, but when people rename groups and switch
 computers (i.e. home/work) suddenly an entire group, whatever the number
 may be, can pop up.

 I suggest the layout of the choices is managed in a single popup with a
 list of possible changes, like this:

 As seen, the graphical layout is pretty "simple". It resembles the way
 "new mail" is displayed upon login, which was also changed in 2.0 if i
 recall correctly.
