Comment:

 Er sorry, I ''was'' using the Buddy State Notification plugin, didn't
 realise it wasn't part of Pidgin "proper". I meant that there is already
 notification when Buddy goes Away or goes Idle or signs On/Off, but there
 is no notification when Buddy changes status message (without changing
 status).

 Is the plugin maintained somewhere else? If so, should I ask for this with
 the plugin maintainers instead?
