Comment:

 They are not all offline.

 I can see them at the same time using GTalk, or the online Google Gadget,
 or through Gmail. They can see me as online, and if they initiate a
 conversation, I can see the message window. However, I don't see anyone as
 online.

 Even if I use "Buddies->Show Offline Buddies," I do not see them. In fact,
 I don't even see the group name.
