Comment:

 Its logical version is 2.0, the soname of a library is entirely unrelated
 to a package's logical version.  In fact, on other systems, the library
 version might be entirely different -- absolute library versioning varies
 with the dynamic library mechanism.  (This is why libtool abstracts
 library versioning.)
