Comment:

 I believe I have fixed this problem.  The absolutely necessary parts of
 XEP-0065 are implemented (have been for a while), but there was a bug in
 the SOCKS5 code in the core, which was causing most of the problems with
 file-receiving.  File sending will remain problematic when behind a
 firewall until I implement the rest of XEP-0065, so we can support using a
 proxy server to aid in sending files (we've supported using them for
 receiving for a long time).

 That said, I'm closing this.  #116 will track the other stuff.
