 "base" is the one you need.

 If you have gst-register-0.10 on your system, try running that and see if
 it fixes the problem.

 Try running gst-inspect-0.10 and see what results you get.

 This is not a Pidgin bug, but probably an OpenSuSE bug. I'll keep this
 open, and help you solve it, but I'm removing the milestone.
