 In gaim-2beta and older, at least on Yahoo protocol, when I was talking to
 a person who was NOT on my buddy list, I could see an icon reflecting that
 person online state.

 Now, in pidgin, I see an icon showing the protocol and no clue on the
 online state.

 Frankly, I miss the gaim behaviour.
