Comment:

 It sounds like Pidgin is crashing after an authentication failure w/ the
 Jabber server, which will cause the account to become disabled.  That's my
 guess as to what the dialog is trying to tell you before it is blown away.

 Please read http://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/TipsForBugReports and get a
 crash report so this issue can be diagnosed.
