 After further poking around, it seems that pidgin is looking for buddies'
 log files by lowercasing all of the characters in the buddies' name. Thus,
 on case sensitive file systems, it is unable to find buddies' logs if the
 filenames are not lowercased. If the files are renamed to lowercase, the
 plugin can read the files and process the logs without an issue.
