 I work in a financial services company and we are required by law to log
 all instant message traffic.  As such, we have setup the popular clients
 (MSN, Yahoo!, even Googlemail) as transports that enable our server to log
 the chats.  We're shopping for an IM client.  So far, most have done
 poorly.  Psi handles the transports/service discovery well, but doesn't
 handle the contact volume that someone with 3 or 4 IM accounts brings.
 Pidgin looks good for Googlemail and our Jabber compliant server, but if
 it doesn't handle transports, we would have to cut off other services.
 Please reconsider raising the priority on transport support.  Your client
 looks better than the others and this will help it work better as well.
