 I recently discovered pidgin and it is terrific. The only thing that bugs
 me is having to go through the File Transfer process when I have a direct
 IM sesssion (which has been very stable btw) open. In AIM 5.x i send all
 kinds of files through a direct connect, but in pidgin I get a red x when
 i try to send or receive them (images and audio work great, this is only
 for other random files). It works great through file transfers, but it
 would easier and quicker to be able to send/receive them through the
 direct IM for whomever I am having the exchange with. Thanks
