 Patches are welcome for ''any'' ticket, of course.  However, that
 milestone is intended for features we do not intend to implement.  I
 intend to implement this one, and have in fact looked at it on a couple of
 occasions recently.

 If someone gets to it before I do, of course, I would be happy to accept a
 patch.  :-)  At least one user has expressed interest in implementing it
 already.  (Note that this expression of interest is not what has kept me
 from it, merely free time.)
