 So I usually hang at freenode and also add the channels to my Buddy List.
 However just because I did that doesn't mean I am actually in the channel.

 I think it would be cool to show up in the channel but have it as idle and
 just get msg when someone mentions my name on a:
 <somenick> <my nick>: hi

 Currently the behavior for when someone mentions your nick includes a
 hightlight process. So what about having the channel show up when the user
 mention my name.
