 I'm going to have to agree as well. Great idea inf1ni. jThe only reason I
 don't use pidgin is based on my ability to quickly access my logs. I use
 Meebo instead. They group it as you mention, you can right click on any
 person in your buddy list and click View log, and it's sorted by Date with
 a search box that is more than comprehensive.

 If pidgin has something like that I'd be on board. I simply need quick
 access to my logs way to much to bend on that one.

 And along with DavidRyder, it would be pretty simple I'd think to setup. I
 should write the plugin :) Alas, Too much work to do :(.
