 When ever you backspace on a conversation all the way to the end the
 system starts beeping
 I've tried turning off the sound for pidgin, that doesn't work
 I've also tried turning off my system's sound...that also doesn't work
 However if I turned the volume on mute its gone.
 It a harsh sharp loud beeping sound...

 I'm on Vista
