Comment:

 Getting this patch to work would basically require implementing a state
 machine (saving the current port in PurpleAccount, retrying in
 msim_input_cb with the next port if it fails, etc) - significant amount of
 work. Would be best to have this functionality in libpurple instead.
 Couldn't find a ticket for it, but I filed #2930 'libpurple
 purple_proxy_connect should have an equivalent to try multiple hosts/ports
 if one fails' to track it.

 Closing this as a duplicate of #2930 because #2930 would supersede this
 patch.
