 I tried that copying that make file to the
 pidgin/libpurple/protocols/myspace folder and running make and i got an
 error root at nticompass-
 laptop:/usr/src/pidgin-2.1.1/libpurple/protocols/myspace#  make cd
 ../../.. && /bin/bash ./config.status libpurple/protocols/myspace/Makefile
 depfilesconfig.status: error: invalid argument:
 libpurple/protocols/myspace/Makefilemake: *** [Makefile] Error 1
