 Hey,

 I spent some time poking around the oscar prpl. It seems that
 aim_info_extract behaves oddly on people with long away messages -- the
 subsequent TLVs change type from 0x0027, 0x000f to 0x696e, 0x4153 (these
 are character pairs from inside the available message, and I have no idea
 why this is happening).
