 Since approximately version 2.0 of Pidgin -- and/or the point where the
 individual protocol icons were removed -- offline users have an blank
 window icon/taskbar button icon in Windows. That is, if the conversation
 window's current tab is an offline user, the conversation window's icon is
 blank. Not missing -- blank. (There's a 16x16 space on the taskbar button
 where the icon should be, which does not occur if a window truly has no
 icon at all.)

 The tab itself has the correct user-offline icon, however.

 Windows 2000 SP 4.
