 If this is not a bug then oops, sorry.
 AIM doesn't synchronize.  If you add a buddy to the blist.xml in MSN, for
 example, a dialog will pop up saying that there's a synchronization error.
 The same thing doesn't happen in AIM; AIM just overrides it and the buddy
 is deleted. It'd be better to give the dialog.

 I assume this is a fault of libpurple and not pidgin.
