 I have Pidgin 2.1.1 on Windows XP SP2 and this is the sequence of events
 that I got out  of the description:

 1. save an away message with the status "away"
 2. verify "away" icon in dropdown menu
 3. modify said away message to have status "available"

 expected outcome: newly modified away message should have "available" icon
 in dropdown menu.
 problem: newly modified away message still shows "away" icon in dropdown
 menu.

 I tried this (even using "invisible" status as another test) and it seemed
 to work as expected. If what I did was wrong, please show a correct
 sequence of events to test.
