Comment:

 Right; intercepting key_press_event is dangerous as it can mess up input
 methods.

 Can you make a patch that has pidgin_request_fields use gtkdialog?

 Also, if you're sure to mark your patches as "patch" they won't go un-
 noticed nearly as long. :)
