 Just noting that I made a GUI suggestion here:
 http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/3135 relating to using 96px avatars and
 it was rejected as well.

 It was also said that my ticket was similar to this ticket's complaint:
 http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/2478
