 Oh I'd totally forgotten about that.  You could send the BIRTHDAY flag to
 the UI using a status type.  Search the oscar code for
 OSCAR_STATUS_ID_MOBILE--you want to do something similar.  You could
 create an OSCAR_STATUS_ID_BIRTHDAY or something as an independent status.
