 I as well receive these messages everytime is sign into my MSN account.
 These pop-ups are occuring for all accounts, new / old and are Pidgin
 doesnt show the correct status of a buddy until I respond yes to the
 popup.

 This is a very annoying issue that is affecting functionality of the MSN
 feature.  Also a search of this message yields MANY bug reports and
 comments describing this issue.

 Bug report 1184 proposes a fairly nice / acceptable solution to this
 issue.  Rather than throw 10-30 pop-up windows, generate 1 with a list.
