 Each time I quit Pidgin and start it again, my SOCKS 5 host and port
 settings are lost, and the next time I start it up again, I have to re-
 enter my SOCKS 5 settings.

 In addition (not sure if it is related), whenever I open the
 Preferences->Network tab, under "Proxy type" it says "SOCKS 5" but there
 are no fields exposed underneath the drop-down list box.  I have to select
 "HTTP" and then select "SOCKS 5" again to get the fields to show up.
