 The error that it gives you is -9802, which is "errSSLFatalAlert" with a
 comment of "Fatal Alert" (surprise surprise). I'll have a go at treating
 this as EAGAIN as you suggest and shall report back.

 However, I do still think that even if an error does occur the data that
 we have received should not just be discarded as it currently is, we
 should really attempt to use it.
