 When switching to offline mode through the bar at the bottom of the main
 window, a textbox for a status message pops up. There's no real reason for
 a status message, because other users can't view it when you are offline.

 __Current behavior:__ 1. Switch to offline mode. 2. Textbox for status
 message appears. 3. User either types in the textbox or clicks elsewhere
 in the window. 4. Pidgin signs off.

 __Expected behavior:__ 1. Switch to offline mode. 2. Pidgin signs off.

 __Possible resolution:__ Pidgin treats saved status messages specially.
 That is, when you choose a saved message, that message is chosen
 immediately rather than waiting for further user input. Maybe offline mode
 can be treated as a special case of a "saved message?"
