 Hi, thanks, still the same problem.

 I uninstalled GTK + Pidgin, downloaded 2.12.08 GTK, installed it (in the
 default folder, the same as Pidgin's, installed Pidgin 2.14 without it's
 GTK version.

 Confirmed in Add remove.

 Launched Pidgin- same C++ error.

 Is there a log file or something specific I can look for to provide more
 information?
