 Running Pidgin 2.4.1 in Ubuntu 8.04 on an Eee 700. The entire .purple
 directory is from a backup of a Pidgin 2.1.1 that ran on Ubuntu 7.10 on
 the same machine (the backup was made to a FAT32 device, so all permission
 settings got wiped).

 When I'm opening the File Transfers window, Plugins window or Preferences
 window it's stuck in foreground of the Pidgin Windows. That means it stays
 on top of conversations and the buddylist, but other programs, like
 Firefox can cover it. The Gnome always-on-top flag is not set for any of
 the Pidgin windows. Trying to apply it to the conversation or buddylist
 window has no effect at all.

 Especially with the small screen space on the Eee the transfer window
 stuck like that is highly annoying. Is that error in any way known? Could
 it be related to the imported preferences?
