Jabber doesn't support invisibility, and we don't support skype. The
Tools->Privacy block and allow lists for ICQ accounts are the visible and
invisible lists for ICQ I believe.

what clients are your friends (the ones with whom you have this problem)
using?
by skype i ment i'm using the tp-plugin to control skype using pidgin.
1) the privacy menu only provides "blocks" and "allows" no real invisible
funktion. i'm pretty sure that there was an rightclick invibile function,
if not i'm sorry, would be nice if this could be integrated in pidgin. now
theres only a "block" button in the rightclick menu, if block means
"invisible to this buddy if i set my client to invisible" i'm sorry too,
cuz i just did not got it. but afaik block means block and is like "always
offline for this buddy". the funny thing is, pidgin shows the block-sign
if i go to invisiblemode behind every buddy, but when it starts in
invisible mode it doesnt shows this sign.
2) WUHUU!!
3) i tested this with a lot of my buddies, some have this problem, some
dont. somehow the buddies i talk about money with are using qip. and some
of them have the problem some dont. so this seams to be a client to pidgin
problem and not a problem of pidgin it self.
-a lot of text, i'm sorry for that, but i hope you can improve pidgin some
how!
