 So I need TLS.  On windows.  Built the latest and got this:

 I don't really know what to make of this because I don't really know what
 all of this means.  A little googling around and it seems there could be
 something with keep-alives and NTLM authentication... It doesn't seem to
 be getting to the NTLM authentication bits anyways.

 Well hope this is helpful... I'm done for now and only hope that this can
 get working soon as I'd love just 1 IM client.
